How Salesforce is preparing for the frontier AI threat landscape
Anthropic’s announcement of Claude Mythos underscores a reality Salesforce has been preparing for: increasingly capable frontier AI models will continue to accelerate the evolution of the cybersecurity landscape. Our security teams are continuously evaluating how frontier models like Mythos may change attacker and defender capabilities, and we are applying those insights to strengthen our security posture and guide continued enhancements across our environment. We view this as an acceleration of work already underway, not a departure from it. Salesforce has long invested in automation and AI to help identify risk, strengthen defenses, and support the trust our customers place in us. Trust remains our #1 value, and we remain focused on helping protect our customers’ data in a rapidly evolving threat environment.

[Retroactive] Actions workflow run failures after deployment gate approvals
On October 1, around 02:00 UTC, an isolated infrastructure failure caused GitHub Actions to lose execution state for a small number of existing workflow runs. Affected runs may remain stuck, fail deployment approvals, or return errors when cancelled. Service connectivity has recovered, but the lost state cannot be restored by retrying an approval. If you're affected, you can trigger a new run or contact GitHub Support with links to your stuck runs so we can unblock them. Once cleared, select "Re-run all jobs." This preserves the workflow run ID but starts a new attempt, rebuilds artifacts, and requires fresh deployment approvals. Before rerunning, check whether any deployment steps already completed to avoid repeating changes.
Active - Multiple services experiencing connectivity issues in multiple regions
Starting at 20:30 UTC on 30 September 2026, customers using gateway services may be experiencing degraded or interrupted network connectivity. Customers may see gateways failing to load in the Azure Portal, and may also be experiencing failures or delays with network management operations across the following impacted services:ExpressRoute GatewaysAzure FirewallApplication Gateways / Web Application FirewallVPN GatewaysAzure VMWare Solution (AVS)Current status: The vast majority of previously-impacted regions are showing signs of recovery, we are working to apply configuration changes that were successful in other regions to the remaining five regions: France Central, North Europe, Southeast Asia, UK South, and UK West. Our investigation has identified a correlation between the timing of this incident and infrastructure operating system servicing activity, which has since been paused. The underlying failure mechanism has not yet been confirmed, and we continue to investigate why network service instances became unhealthy and why recovery behavior differed across services. We continue to validate recovery - region by region, and service by service. We will provide additional information within the next 60 minutes, or sooner if events warrant.
