Security Alert: Phishing Campaign with Malicious links
Salesforce is aware of and closely monitoring a phishing campaign appearing as fraudulent emails from Salesforce with a malicious link to download Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) software. Our security teams are working diligently to contain this issue and urge all customers to maintain a high level of vigilance against phishing and social engineering attempts, as these remain frequently used tactics by threat actors. If you receive requests from Salesforce to install RMM software, we recommend you validate its legitimacy with Salesforce Support or architect teams prior to taking action by opening up a ticket through the Salesforce Help portal. Since approximately 13:50 UTC, users have been unable to install add-ons. Installation attempts are failing and may display an “Installation failed” message. Service Disruption
Some users were unable take expected actions within files, including editing the file, between 18:42 UTC and 19:25 UTC. No file permissions were modified or incorrectly assigned. We have now addressed the root cause and are monitoring for any additional issues.

Issues connecting to resources in West US
Starting at approximately 14:44 UTC on 23 July 2026, customers may have experienced intermittent connectivity failures, increased latency, or difficulty accessing Azure and other Microsoft cloud (https://status.cloud.microsoft/) services associated with the West US region. Customers whose traffic traverses affected West US network infrastructure may also experience downstream impact. Impacted services include:Application Gateway, Application Insights, Azure AD B2C, Azure AI Speech, Azure API Management, Azure Bastion, Azure Bot Service, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Firewall, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Monitor, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure VMware Solution, Log Analytics, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Sentinel, Partner Center, Power BI Embedded, Virtual WANCurrent Status:We identified a recent change that was strongly correlated with the onset of impact. We have completed the rollback of this change and telemetry across services are continuing to show signs of recovery. Customer should be observing recovery at this time.We are closely monitoring service health and downstream recovery and will provide additional updates as we validate restoration.

Database Maintenance
We will be carrying out a database upgrade during this maintenance window, affecting the EU and US regions. During the upgrade, the User Management API and the Spaces and Organizations endpoints in the Content Management API may experience brief interruptions. This may temporarily affect signup, login, logout, API key creation, SSO configuration, and access to license and account information. The Content Delivery API (CDA), Content Preview API (CPA), and GraphQL Content API are not affected.
